Gary Blosser has been at Hope Community since the summer of 2010. He has enjoyed the call to be a pastor of churches since he was in his early 20’s. Leading youth groups for many years, traveling with missions teams in YWAM all over Mexico, and Granada, and leading churches in Lancaster, PA and Wauseon, OH. Being at Hope Community he has enjoyed the maturity of the congregation and their love for the Lord. It has been exciting in the past few years to see many in the body at Hope become connected in small groups for their spiritual growth and fellowship.
In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar and piano. But his first love is tinkering around the house on woodworking projects in his shop. Making cedar chests for his daughters and most recently finishing a desk for the family room. He would like to say he is a fisherman, but he finds it hard to wait patiently for the fish to bite, so he puts most of his time being fishers of men and women!
When he is in his office he enjoys having pictures of his 3 grandchildren smiling up at him from his computer and on his walls. He is a proud father of two grown daughters. Becky and her family live in the Boston area and Shannon lives in Harrisonburg, VA. Gary and Judy moved to PA to pastor at Hope Community, but also to be within driving distance of their parents and children. Family is an important connection for Gary who has taken time to be with aging parents and growing grandchildren.Kevin KanagyTeaching Pastorkevink@hopecomm.org
