God is amazingly generous to us. He blesses us abundantly so that we can share the joy of giving to others.
“God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8
- We give to our church family because God gave to us first. All that we have, our time, talents, skills and ability to work and earn money, are gifts from a generous and loving God. Generosity is the act of growing in God’s image.
- We give to our church to support our faith family and God’s mission through the church to the world that he loves.
- We give to our church family as an act of obedience and humility that reminds us to worship God above all else. Where our treasure is, there our heart will be too.
- We give to our church family for the joy of blessing others in need, and building God’s Kingdom of hope and love on the earth.
