Prayer
Philippians 4:6,7
The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
At Hope we believe that prayer is powerful and effective. God hears every prayer, and God is moved in compassion to act, even though it might not be in our preferred timing or the way we want. When we see God’s answer to our prayers we celebrate with each other. When we don’t see the answer right away, we wait patiently in faith.
We know that God is not Santa Clause, giving us everything we ask for. God is a good and wise Father, he is near and not distant, and he love us.
